National Society for Enhancement of Freedom & Democracy (Jund)

GOALS of the Society

1)      To ensure the continuation of the democratic trend and its consolidation in the conscience and behavior of the citizen.

2)      To encourage creativity that is aimed at promoting the democratic trend and the nurturing of ideas.

3)      To work for guaranteeing liberties and the political, social and environmental rights of the citizen.

4)      To urge the applications of the principles of democracy freedom and equality as contained in the Jordanian Constitution and the National Charter.

5)      To exercise various culture, ideological and social activities the following :

A- Preparing programs for the democratic education and awareness.

B- Integration in the media field and publication in the newspapers and magazines.

C- Holding seminars and meetings and delivering lectures, exchanging information and cooperating with the popular and official bodies as well as relevant local, Arab and international Societies.

D- Conducting studies and research relevant to this field through coordination with the universities and higher institutes.

E- Following up the application of the democratic trend in the national institutions.
